Treatments

and what you need to know

This section offers information about the different massage techniques I draw from within my practice. Rather than fixed treatments to choose from, I blend a variety of styles and approaches to create a personalised massage experience tailored specifically to you.

Every session is thoughtfully adapted to meet your individual needs on the day, whether you’re looking to ease tension, relieve pain, deeply relax, or simply take time to reset.

If you’re unsure what might suit you best, please feel free to get in touch. I’m always happy to discuss what you’re looking for and create a treatment that feels right for you.

Sports

Sports massage is not just for athletes. It’s ideal for anyone experiencing muscle tension, stiffness, pain, or restricted movement. Sessions begin with an assessment to identify tight or overworked muscles, followed by targeted massage and stretching techniques designed to relieve tension, improve flexibility, and support recovery.

Hot stones applied to the back

Hot Stone

Hot stone massage uses smooth, heated stones placed on the body and combined with flowing massage techniques. The warmth relaxes muscles quickly, allowing deeper relief without discomfort.

This treatment helps ease tension, improve circulation, reduce stress, and promote deep relaxation for both body and mind.

Hot bamboo stick

Hot Bamboo

Hot bamboo massage uses warm bamboo sticks to deliver deep, flowing massage strokes. The heat helps relax tight muscles while the firm pressure works deeper into areas of tension.

This treatment improves circulation, relieves muscle stiffness, reduces stress, and leaves the body feeling balanced, energised, and deeply relaxed.

Cold stones massaged on a face

Cold stones

Cold stone therapy uses chilled, smooth stones applied to the body to calm and refresh the muscles.

The cooling effect helps reduce inflammation, soothe sore areas, and improve circulation, leaving you feeling revitalised and balanced. I love incorporating cold stones on the face at the end of a treatment to gently refresh and awaken the skin before you leave.

Cupping therapy

Cupping therapy uses suction cups on the skin to lift and decompress tight muscles.

This treatment improves circulation, eases tension, supports detoxification, and helps relieve pain, leaving you feeling lighter and more relaxed.

Hands massaging a back

Swedish or Deep tissue

Swedish / Deep Tissue Massage combines flowing, relaxing strokes with targeted deep pressure to release built-up tension in the muscles.

This treatment improves circulation, eases stiffness, relieves aches and pains, and promotes overall relaxation, leaving your body feeling looser, lighter, and restored.

Manual Lymphatic drainage treatment

Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a gentle, rhythmic treatment designed to stimulate the body’s lymphatic system and support natural detoxification. This is a standalone treatment, not incorporated into other therapies.

It helps reduce fluid retention, minimise swelling, support immune function, and leave you feeling lighter, clearer, and rebalanced.
